Home Paddocks Builders is a family run company. We were founded in 2020 but have been working in the same field for the past ten years. Our lead carpenter and General Contractor Gary Martin has been building luxury homes for 50 years. Home Paddocks Builders is based in Charlottesville and operates in the surrounding areas.

Owner

Bret Holden

A successful businessman from Hampton, VA, Bret tried his hand in construction back in 2009 and has not looked back since. He excels in understanding the "wants" of our clients and managing expectation and budget. He's the key piece to making your dream home a affordable reality.

Owner/Carpenter/Equipment Operator

Chase Holden

Chase grew up around construction and has been doing various trades for the past 8 years. He first learned excavation at the age of 15 and hasn't gotten off the machines since. A master of the excavator and front end loader he does most of the excavation work for the company. He's also grew into a roll as a lead carpenter for the past 4 years.

General Contractor/Master Carpenter

Gary Martin

Gary has been a GC and Master Carpenter for the past 50 years. He is a true master of construction. With the vast knowledge he has accumulated there is no problem he has not encountered before and, no problem he can not solve.

Master electrician

Scott Watson

Scott has been an unbelievable addition to the team. He worked previously in commercial construction for 10 years before going off on his own and becoming a residential electrical contractor. He joined our team in 2021 and has increased productivity ever since.
